Frustrations

With that thing (or curse) called THESIS.
It's relatively
doable and manageable, no doubt. But there were these series of unfortunate events leading to
the almost disastrous day yet. Yesterday was the last straw.
Now here is the
Recipe for Disaster.
1. Missed first day of thesis. Leaving me groupless and clueless.
2. A
supposed-to-be-groupmate forgot that we're supposed to be groupmates and joined other (better?) research teams. First shocker of the semester.
3. I was listed as an "Individual" researcher. Like I said:
Groupless.
4. Fortunately, there were two other "Individuals", and we team up! Yey.
5. From groupless, we went clueless.
Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. Sounds good. Now what's next?
6. Clueless is to topicless. Ang hirap mag-isip. But we thought of a few "interesting" ones: (Don't mind the titles)
- Detection of Pornography in Movies - First choice. Don't ask.
- Word-Generator for Scrabble - What?
- Emotion Recognition Through Facial Expression - This made me giggle.
- Mobile Text Extraction from Images - Mobile note-taking. I could use that.
- Customer Statistics Through Surveillance Cameras - My lame idea.
- Detection of Shoplifters Through Surveillance Cameras - Fat chance.
- Real-time Weblog Updating Through Live Video - For all addict blogistas out there!
7. Missed first day of advising. See a trend?
8. All. Topics. Rejected. Saya.
What heppens next? Itutuloy ko pagkagaling kong SM. Hehe. Pasalamat bukas. Need new clothes (and wardrobe).

Haha! Car, our maid basicaly destroyed lahat ng damit ko. Hindi marunong maglaba! Kaya nga may washing instructions dammit! Isa na lang ang natitira kong matino. And I'LL be washing it myself from. now. on.
